My Dear Kaavyansh, actually, let me address you by Kunnu, it's more personal and closer to my heart. On my 43rd birthday, I'm starting a series of conversations which I can't have with you much because of your age-limitations. Don't get me wrong, these would be all abstract talks and you might make sense of these as you grow old.

Khushboo, when she reads this, might ask me why only write for you and not for her. The answer is whatever talk I want to have with her, I have with her on the spot.

Ok. Enough gibberish! Let me come straight to the point. I wanted to tell you that I've always admired the poem 'If' by Rudyard Kipling. In fact, when I joined Northern Trust, it was that poem which I put in front of my desk. The other thing was Phonetic Dictionary. So, 'If' is actually a poem from a father to his son in which the father tells his son how to deal with different and challenging circumstances. Whenever I read this poem, I so much relate to it and I wish I could write something for you.

I believe you should read this poem once. You'll understand.

In a similar vein, your late baba has given me so many pieces of advice, some of which I'll be sharing here. I hope you will like this letter and I think I'll be able to write many more like this one. This was in my mind for a while and now as I have kind-of come close to the end of the first letter, I feel relieved.

See! There's a lesson hidden here. If there's something lingering in your mind, and you're unable to start it, take 5 mins of your schedule, and start it. You might not be sure where it would lead you to or if you're able to pursue it properly but the thing is: you woudn't have a qualm of not getting started with it. It's something akin to 'Eat Your Frog' book. See you in the next letter...
